I provide hands-on support for founders, investors, and organizations to land first customers, craft strategic plans, build deep ecosystem knowledge, generate momentum, and build relationships that make connections count — turning strategy into success and connections into customers.
While in Estonia at a venture-funded startup, one of our first Japanese users came through the platform via a WIRED Japan article (itself a product of personal connections and relationships I fostered). With limited shared language, we connected through patience, curiosity, shared values, and problem-solving. I helped him invest in European startups and traveled with him across Estonia and Croatia. Our bond grew beyond business—we met again in Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Sapporo, culminating in me attending his wedding. (If and when I am ever married, Hiro will be my first invite.) While such deep relationships are rare, I bring this same dedication to every connection I make and client I serve.
Over the past decade, I've turned cold leads into collaborators, skeptics into partners, and ideas into movements—launching startups, scaling government initiatives, and driving cross-cultural ecosystem programs. Clients include Microsoft, 3M Health Care, Innovation Norway-backed startups, and regional governments across Japan and Europe. I've helped build companies like Funderbeam and Databutton, programs like Hokkaido Innovation Week and Startup Extreme, and advised brands and agencies on engaging customers and partners effectively.
